Ring is looking for a hands-on Senior Financial Analyst to strengthen the international finance team at Ring in Amsterdam. You will be working with sales and marketing teams in Europe, APAC, MEA, and LATAM and have stakeholders at the Ring headquarter in the US. In your role, you will be managing all reporting and forecasting deliverables with the team goals to facilitate customer acquisition and retention in existing markets, as well as drive geographical, category, and channel expansion. You will be part of an agile finance team of five, and together we are balancing short-term profitability and long-term value for Ring, Blink, and Amazon.
To be successful in this role, you are not afraid to take ownership, have excellent analytical abilities, and a great business sense. You get energy from working in cross-functional, international teams. Become part of Ring’s growth story and mission to keep people close to what’s important.
Key job responsibilities:
- Coordinate reporting and forecasting cycles for sales and OPEX and align with regional stakeholders and corporate teams.
- Liaise with department heads on cost control.
- Ensure vendor managers request POs and register goods receipt on time, estimate monthly OPEX spend for accruals.
- Coordinate month-end analysis to provide commentary on variances.
- Plan strategic three-year forecast for OPEX for international markets.
A day in the life:
In your day-to-day business, you will liaise with sales and marketing vendor managers to review OPEX spend and update the latest estimates. You coordinate with finance counterparts in the US for the quarterly forecast submission for international markets and align with sales and marketing leads on targets for future periods. As you navigate ERPs (NetSuite, Oracle, and Cognos), you will use advanced MS Excel techniques and Tableau to drive actionable insights on OPEX and sales. Being de facto the chief of staff, you own the calendar and coordinate deadlines for forecasting and reporting cycles between the headquarter and regions. Expect a fair share of troubleshooting to iron out inconsistencies in reporting – improvise fast when needed, work on a sustainable solution whenever possible. You thrive in a complex and changing environment. You are an avid process manager that can bring stakeholders across time zones and functions together in business transformation projects. As you grow in this role, you will simplify processes, coach peers, and find connections in data to drive meaningful business decisions.
