About the Role:
You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Services Group in Cambridge, participate in all audit stages, and manage a team of auditors. This senior role, reporting directly to Partners, involves leading multiple engagements and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Corporate Services Group: train, mentor, and develop team members.
- Review assignments and provide feedback.
- Manage a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring effective communication of engagement progress and financial information.
- Participate in networking and building client relationships.
- Ensure engagement profitability and support business development activities.
Essential Skills:
- Proven audit background within a UK practice and front-line client contact.
- ICAEW/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- Good knowledge of audit planning and UK GAAP accounts preparation.
- Experience with CCH accounts software or similar packages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to undertake some travel.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
