About the Role:

You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Services Group in Cambridge, participate in all audit stages, and manage a team of auditors. This senior role, reporting directly to Partners, involves leading multiple engagements and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the Corporate Services Group: train, mentor, and develop team members.
  2. Review assignments and provide feedback.
  3. Manage a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring effective communication of engagement progress and financial information.
  4. Participate in networking and building client relationships.
  5. Ensure engagement profitability and support business development activities.

Essential Skills:

  1. Proven audit background within a UK practice and front-line client contact.
  2. ICAEW/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
  3. Good knowledge of audit planning and UK GAAP accounts preparation.
  4. Experience with CCH accounts software or similar packages.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Self-motivated, flexible, and able to undertake some travel.
  7. Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
