The Supply Chain Co-ordinator supports the Procurement Manager and wider procurement team in ensuring the effective and ethical flow of goods and materials across the supply chain. This role focuses on providing administrative and operational support, maintaining accurate records, liaising with suppliers, and helping ensure compliance with ethical sourcing and sustainability standards.
Salary, Hours and Benefits
- Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 dependant on experience
- Hours: 6:00am - 6:00pm, 4 days on, 4 days off (meaning you only work for half of the year. On this shift, you get 183 days off per year, 50 days more than a regular 9:00am - 5:00pm)
- Paid overtime
- 4x salary Death in service
- Commutable From: Telford, Stafford, Cannock, Brewood, Shifnal
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in a procurement, supply chain, or warehouse environment preferred but not essential.
- The Supply Chain Co-ordinator must have strong administrative and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
- A right first-time approach - be prepared to check and double check your work for accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Basic understanding of procurement or supply chain operations.
- The Supply Chain Co-ordinator will be comfortable working with data and using spreadsheets.
- Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Familiarity with ethical sourcing principles and compliance processes is desirable.
- Basic Excel experience - training can be given.
