A cybersecurity business is making its first AI hire to explore how large language models can power intelligent search across complex security data.

The company is in early stages and this role is critical. You’ll be working directly with the founder to build the foundations of an AI capability from the ground up. This isn’t joining a team – it’s starting one.

They’re looking to develop search tools that help security teams find the right information faster. Your job is to figure out how to apply LLMs and modern ML techniques to make that possible.

What you’ll be doing

• Prototyping AI-driven search and discovery tools using LLMs
• Exploring ways to apply ML/NLP to cybersecurity data
• Setting the technical direction for AI within the business
• Building initial systems and taking them into production

What they’re looking for

• Strong background in AI, ML or NLP (LLM experience ideal)
• Comfortable working independently in high-ownership roles
• Experience shipping prototypes into production environments
• Interest in cybersecurity or complex problem spaces
