As Hillcrest’s Young Workforce Development Partner, you will drive the creation and support of apprenticeships, career pathways, and work activities to attract young talent into our organisation. You’ll design and implement impactful programs aligned with Hillcrest’s Young Workforce Development Strategy, collaborate with schools, colleges, and employability partners, and ensure Hillcrest is recognised as an employer of choice in Dundee.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Develop and implement Foundation, Modern, and Graduate Apprenticeships to support workforce planning.
  2. Lead the development of Hillcrest’s mentoring program for young people.
  3. Drive forward Hillcrest’s aim of achieving Gold Level Award in IIYP in 2026.
  4. Collaboration and Partnerships:

  5. Build strong partnerships with schools, colleges, youth organisations, and employability providers, actively promoting career opportunities in housing, maintenance, and social care to local communities.
  6. Collaborate with funders and stakeholders to secure resources for training and career development initiatives.

Leadership and Mentorship:

  1. Provide individual guidance, career planning, and professional development support.
  2. Facilitate career activities, job fairs, and networking events.

About You

We are seeking a motivated individual who is passionate about creating opportunities for young people and committed to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion. You will bring excellent communication and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to design and deliver impactful programs.

You will hold a qualification at Level 9 or above of the Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework (SCQF) in Employability, Learning and Development or Mentoring and Coaching.
