Teaching Assistant KS1

Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting Key Stage 1 learners? A lovely primary school in Leeds is looking for a KS1 TA to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2025. This role will involve working in a Year 1 or Year 2 classroom, depending on your experience. You will: Provide general classroom support and assist with group activities Offer 1:1 support for pupils who need extra help with phonics, reading or writing Help set up and maintain a positive, engaging classroom environment Support the teacher with planning, behaviour and day-to-day routines What we\’re looking for: Experience working in a primary setting, ideally in KS1 A kind, patient and proactive approach to learning support A Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (or relevant experience) A genuine passion for working with younger learners This is a great opportunity to secure a stable, rewarding TA role ahead of the new academic year
