Due to an internal move, they seek an experienced Senior Property / Facilities Manager for a landmark building in the City of London. The role involves managing the building\’s service charge budget, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high standards of service. Working Monday to Friday, collaborating with the Building Director and Senior Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will foster strong relationships with occupiers and lead a team to deliver a 5-star service. The salary is circa £70-80k, with discretionary bonus and benefits. Responsibilities include: Monitoring service charge expenditure and ensuring value for money. Preparing end-of-year budget packs for occupiers. Reviewing and preparing year-end accounts with the surveyor. Ensuring health & safety and emergency procedures are maintained and compliant with legislation. Acting as Responsible Person and Senior Fire Warden during emergencies. Ensuring compliance with organizational manuals and policies. Training and developing building staff. Procurement of building and contracted services. Monthly inspections of the building and common areas. Innovating operational and service delivery processes. Leading and motivating the team, promoting workplace culture. Maintaining strong relationships with the building owner. Aligning with the building\’s vision and values. Monitoring and managing actions and audits. Developing property managers\’ skills and covering in your absence. Performing other duties as requested by the Building Director. Candidates should have at least five years of experience in a senior property/facilities management role, preferably within a trophy building or corporate HQ. Experience managing service charges, budgets, and qualifications in Health & Safety (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH) or professional memberships are desirable.
