We have an exciting opportunity within our Sports department who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Specialist Hockey Coach and Sports Coach.
About the role:
You will join on a full time, One year fixed term basis (37.5 hours per week).
The post holder will be a specialist Hockey coach and also coach other sports, when required, at Wellington College and to support the PE and Games provision at Wellington College Prep.

Key responsibilities (Including but not limited to; see job description for full requirements):
- Primarily to undertake coaching of Hockey, under the guidance of the Head of Hockey/head of Hockey Development/Director of Sport.
- To assist the relevant Heads of Sport and Heads of Sport Development to deliver sports coaching in a range of sports, in line with the overall strategy for Sport at Wellington College and Wellington College Prep, both in terms of participation and performance (including Saturday afternoon sports fixtures).
- Coach Hockey across all teams, genders and age groups, including attendance at home and away fixtures (experience within another summer sport, may also be beneficial; Cricket and Tennis).
Person Specification
The successful incumbent must have
- Previous experience coaching Hockey in a youth or adult setting.
- Previous experience within a performance, participation, or school setting in Hockey
