Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting an Income Housing Officer for a housing association based in Merseyside. The role is on an initial 3-month contract with the possibilty of extension or to be made permanent. This position will have a mixture between site visits and office attendance and paying between Â£20 – £23 per hour via umbrella agency. The role: Deliver a comprehensive rent collection service by monitoring a case load of rent accounts for customers in arrears. Managing the arrears process in compliance with group Policies and procedures.  Identify support needs of our customers, offering basic welfare advice / guidance and making referrals to or signposting to external agencies. Ensure that appropriate legal action is taken to recover debt Engaging with external agencies, e.g. local authorities, Department for Works and Pensions, when required.
