About the Role: Masterclass Education is seeking a reliable and confident unqualified teacher to with a school in the Eastbourne area. This part-time role involves supervising whole classes during pre-planned lessons and ensuring a smooth and engaging learning environment in the teacher's absence. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise whole classes during pre-planned learning activities, ensuring continuity in line with the school’s curriculum. * Collect and return completed work to the appropriate teacher as necessary. * Promote positive values, attitudes, and good student behaviour, handling conflicts in accordance with school policies. * Report on student behaviour and any arising issues using the school’s agreed referral procedures. Supporting Students: * Respond to student queries and provide general guidance on set work, processes, and procedures. * Establish productive working relationships with students, acting as a positive role model. * Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students in the classroom, recognizing and responding to individual student needs. * Encourage students to interact, work cooperatively, and develop independence. Qualifications: * Essential: * Bachelor’s degree. * Minimum of one year’s experience in leading a class or group in an educational setting.
