While all of PSG shares accountability for supporting these processes, the PSG Compensation & Equity Model Analysis and PSG MDP Experience teams play a larger role in shaping the work. This role will report into the Head of MDP Experience (Lauren Merrill, PSG Director).In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of the current MDP C&E framework and the elements of MDP performance it is intended to reward. You will also learn about BCG’s overall business, P&L, strategic priorities, and other elements related to firm performance. You will work with senior leaders to help identify and articulate opportunities to evolve the MDP C&E Framework to create stronger incentives linked to BCG’s evolving business needs. You will be involved with design for the future and then leading implementation and change management planning to bring changes to life.As an example, this individual may take on responsibilities such as:Team with Head of MDP Experience team and other functions to lead ad-hoc and internal taskforce projects assessing the effectiveness of various MDP incentives, as they relate to business and individual MDP performance and strategic alignmentCo-lead qualitative and quantitative analysis, synthesis, modeling, and preparation of materials to communicate findings and make recommendations to PSG leadership, the BCG Executive Committee, and other sub-groups (‘steerco discussions’)Deliver presentations, prepare communications, draft talking points and answers to FAQs, working closely with others to refine and executeSupport change management and implementation strategies, working with broader PSG teams (Operations, Evaluation, etc.) to implement any approved changes and help infuse into our global policies, process, and normsYou’re Good AtYou AreAn experienced professional with proven experience driving change, building relationships throughout an organization, rapidly building credibility with senior leaders, and navigating priorities across multiple initiatives and workstreamsA strong project manager, able to simultaneously balance medium- to long-term goals with short-term deliverables and needsA confident and strong communicator (written and verbal), with senior presence, the ability to tailor your style to different audience, and composure to work with a senior MDP team on sensitive topicsWilling to proactively jump in to help others in a fast-paced matrixed environmentFlexible, open to new ideas/change, and highly collaboratively/ iteratively in your working styleAnalytically curious and a thoughtful interpreter of data and patterns – qualitative as well as quantitativeConfident to ask probing questions, investigate options, understand a situation, and make recommendations with supporting other team members and senior leadersCollaborative, personal, and demonstrate good judgmentWhat You\’ll BringYou Bring (Experience & Qualifications)We are looking for a well-rounded individual who is comfortable navigating sensitive topics with leaders and can work collaboratively to influence leadership and implement change.You bring…5+ years of consulting experience (desired)—ideally as an Associate/ Consultant/ Project Leader or within Finance, Client Team, or other commercial-adjacent functionsIn lieu of consulting experience,Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Finance, or another quantitative discipline; MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred8+ years minimum industry experience required – in finance, executive renumeration, sales force operations, etc.A proven track record of successfully influencing MDPs (or equivalents) and senior executives and developing strong, trusted working relationshipsExcellent organizational, project-management, written/ verbal communication (PPT, executive memo, senior stakeholder communications), and interpersonal skillsFlexible and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and ability to stay focusedAbility to work independently on multiple, simultaneous assignments with minimal supervisionHigh level of confidentiality and discretion in handling of sensitive dataWho You\’ll Work WithWho We AreThe Partner Services Group (PSG) is a global, high-impact team within BCG’s Finance function that is responsible for the design, development, and execution of world-class evaluation, development, compensation, and equity programs for our ~2,000 Managing Directors and Partners (MDPs).
