Social network you want to login/join with:Senior Manufacturing Engineering Technician – 2nd Shift, Bedford Client: WerfenLocation: Bedford, United KingdomJob Category: OtherEU work permit required: YesJob Reference: 3c2090b086aeJob Views: 5Posted: 25.06.2025Expiry Date: 09.08.2025Job Description: Overview This position supports the production of medical devices within a cGMP/regulated environment, performing technical support and administrative duties related to electro-mechanical test equipment and hand fixtures.ResponsibilitiesPerform repair & maintenance of manufacturing equipment.Troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment using data and diagnostic tools.Work from specifications, schematics, and instructions.Collaborate with production operators and technical staff to identify and resolve equipment failures.Review failure trends and implement process improvements.Develop process adjustments and fabricate fixturing as needed.Specify, perform, and document preventive maintenance.Ensure compliance with standards and procedures.Maintain work area and equipment reliability.Skills & CapabilitiesAbility to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and operate a multimeter.Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, PLCs, and computer hardware control.Troubleshoot failures to the component level.Work with urgency in a production environment.Qualifications Minimum Knowledge & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent plus 5 years’ experience, or trade/vocational diploma with 3-5 years’ experience.Experience with electro-mechanical equipment.Additional Skills/Knowledge:Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.English as the primary language.Other DetailsInternational mobility: NoTravel requirements: NoInterested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume or CV.
