Site Manager – North London – New Build School Project

A main contractor is currently seeking to recruit a Site Manager for a new build school project in North London. The project will be starting groundworks shortly and consists of a new build steel frame extension.

The successful site manager will be required to oversee sites as a stand alone manager, organising relevant trade subcontractors and liaising with the client.

Main Duties

  1. Setting out and checking works as required for the project
  2. Undertaking daily inductions
  3. Maintaining a site diary
  4. Undertaking certain environmental monitoring requirements (specific training will be provided)
  5. Undertaking weekly checks and completing a task list as outlined by the Project Manager
  6. Checking setting out instruments weekly/monthly
  7. Resolve setting out queries and raise necessary RFI’s in relation to these
  8. General responsibility for site safety
  9. Management of section 278 works
