As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance core applications. You will oversee multiple teams, playing a pivotal role in shaping development strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Location: South East/Remote
Salary: up to £95,000 + competitive benefits, depending on experience.
Requirements:
- Experience building and shipping large-scale applications
- Knowledge of Java AND/OR Kotlin
- A solid understanding of AWS OR GCP
- Experience with TDD and pair programming
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Experience leading engineering decisions in complex environments and influencing stakeholders
- Strong understanding of software architecture and architectural patterns, including microservices and event-driven architectures
- Experience with CI/CD in complex environments
- Proven track record of creating highly performant, scalable applications
- Leadership experience is required
