Responsibilities

We believe in matching the experience and skills of our visitors to the specialisms and needs of our clients. Once allocated to our residential children’s homes, you will be responsible for carrying out monthly visits within the first 5 days of the month. While you will do this independently, our management team will provide ongoing support and regular feedback. You will have extensive knowledge of the 'Social Care Common Inspection Framework', the 'Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015', and the 'Guide to the Children's Homes Regulations, including the quality standards'. The ideal candidate will be diligent in everything they do and must have excellent communication and report writing skills. As a Regulation 44 visitor, you will have the ability to build rapport with young people and act as a critical friend to the company. Previous experience successfully managing a residential children's home or service inspected by Ofsted is essential. Access to a car and full driving licence is needed for this role.
