This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a business that delivers high-end commercial fit-out projects across various sectors. With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for excellence, our client is seeking a Contracts Manager who can lead from the front - ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
The Role
As the Contracts Manager, you'll take full ownership of the project portfolio from a contractual and operational perspective. You'll work closely with the on-site delivery teams and clients, ensuring each project is meticulously planned, legally compliant, financially controlled, and completed safely. You'll also play a key role in team leadership, stakeholder management, and project execution - making this a vital position within the company's operations function.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule all project activities in collaboration with the pre-construction team
- Coordinate and manage internal staff and external subcontractors across multiple live sites
- Ensure health & safety and building control compliance throughout all phases of the projects
- Oversee financial performance, monitoring budgets, forecasting cash flow, and reporting variances
- Lead stakeholder communication, acting as the key liaison between the site teams, clients, and internal departments
- Mentor and develop project teams, ensuring professional growth and high performance
- Ensure quality standards are met at every stage of delivery
What We're Looking For

- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior-level contracts, operations, or project management role (ideally within the commercial fit-out or construction sector)
