Data Architect (GCP) – Banking Client

Location: London – hybrid – office and remote.

We’re seeking a Data Architect with strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience to support a leading banking client in shaping and delivering enterprise-scale data strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive data strategy and roadmap aligned with enterprise goals.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable data solutions and products.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across business and technology to deliver effective data consumption frameworks.
• Guide migration from legacy data warehouses to modern cloud-based platforms.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Data Architect in large, complex enterprise environments.
• Deep understanding of GCP data services (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage).
• Strong track record in defining and executing data strategies, including roadmap creation and product delivery.
• Experience working closely with senior stakeholders to align data architecture with business objectives.
• Preferable: experience with data migration from legacy warehousing systems to GCP.
