The Role

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic Science Technician to join our excellent Geology department from September 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Duties will be predominantly in the Geology department but may also entail supporting the other science subjects when required. They will include the organisation, preparation and setting out of apparatus and specimens for day-to-day teaching in the laboratories and for examination practicals.

This is a part-time, term-time role working 25 hours per week from 08:00 to 13:00, Monday to Friday.

About You

Applicants should have a keen in interest in science and/or geology; have good attention to detail; be equally confident working unsupervised and within a team; interact effectively with pupils; and have a qualification (preferably to at least A level or BTEC level 3) in a science subject.
