We are looking for a Search Specialist to join the Marketing Communications team. The team are responsible for communicating Toyota GB propositions to consumers supporting a number of business areas including new and used vehicle sales, aftersales and mobility services. The Team manages the long-term brand impacts plus short and medium-term sales activations.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as a Search Specialist for Toyota and Lexus and stay up to date and informed on changes to the search landscape and opportunities.
- Understand and stay up to date with consumer behaviour that may impact on Search behaviour in the key areas of Toyota’s operations and purchase journeys.
- Take ownership for the delivery and day-to-day management of implementing and developing the Toyota Search Strategy:
- Paid Search – management of all media agency activity on Paid Search, briefing, reporting and alignment with internal stakeholders.
- SEO – Aligning closely with Toyota website teams to support on SEO considerations within the search space
- Act as primary contact for all search related questions and requests across Toyota working with stakeholders from across the business.
- Manage key search partner relationships so Toyota are eligible for on-going tests/betas and aware of shifts in the landscape
- Make recommendations to Brand Manager for adjustments to plans and prioritisation, and ensure you work closely as a Performance Marketing team to deliver against business objectives.
- Budget management: Support with management of a multi-million pound Search budget ensuring maximum value is derived, completing financial reconciliations and transfers, making recommendations for any redistribution or re-prioritisations and supporting budget planning.
Essential
- 3-5 years’ experience in Paid Search & SEO, including hands on experience managing significant Paid Search activity
- Understanding of consumer behaviours in search
- Google Ads accreditation and other platform certification
- Previous marketing communications experience
- Media agency management
Desirable
- Understanding of retailer and Toyota relationship dynamics or similar franchise dynamics
