BASED EITHER AT STAINES OR GRANTHAM Purpose The role of the Customer Marketing team is to deliver and execute focused category growth plans to our customers. The Customer Marketing Manager will be the expert in the designated customer(s), supporting the alignment of category and customer strategy and becoming an essential partner to our customer contacts, driving incremental growth for both businesses. Key Accountabilities Understand the customer growth strategy supports building and execution of tailored customer category plans incorporating their language and consumer segmentation True partners to our key customers, builds relationships, become an irreplaceable extension to their team Shares regular market data and category insight to the customer with actionable recommendations Shares outputs from category and consumer research with customer specific action plan recommendations Category management using customer data sources; Ranging, Pricing & Promotion, Channel activation, Merchandising Works with category and innovation teams to build innovation pipeline for the customer, using both central pipeline (push) and customer driven (pull) and measure performance, nurture launches Provides channel expertise and works closely with eCommerce team to deliver best practice Skills & Knowledge Strong understanding and experience working with UK grocery retailers. Good written and verbal communication skills & storytelling. Strong customer relationship building skills & cross-functional collaboration. Ability to think creatively about business opportunities & problem solving. Strong analytical skillset and high levels of comfort working with a wide range of data sources. Distils insights and translates them into learnings & solutions. Experience working with designated customer(s) is desirable Prior experience working in a Category or Customer Marketing role with own label fresh protein is desirable Experience working with UK Grocery Multiple Retailers.
