Role Responsibilities * Provide legal advice on planning matters, including Section 106 Agreements and planning obligations. * Draft and negotiate legal documentation including deeds and agreements. * Attend and advise at Planning Committee meetings once a month. * Handle planning-related enquiries, some licensing issues, and high volumes of FOI requests. (Highly desirable but not essential) * Liaise effectively with planning officers and keep them updated on progress. * Ensure timely and efficient file management with minimal supervision. Requirements * Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with prior local authority planning law experience. * Strong communication and client-handling skills. * Availability to work part-time (22 hours/week) and attend in-person meetings monthly. * Experience with information governance or FOI is highly desirable.
