Removals Team Leader Location: South London Job Type: Full-time Salary: Competitive Reports to: Operations Manager / Branch Manager About the Role We are seeking a motivated and experienced Removals Team Leader to oversee and participate in domestic and commercial removals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a valid UK driving licence to drive company vehicles as needed. Key Responsibilities * Lead a team of removal operatives on residential and commercial moves * Plan and coordinate daily jobs, ensuring efficient use of time and resources * Safely load, transport, and unload goods with care and accuracy * Conduct pre-move assessments and vehicle checks * Provide high levels of customer service throughout the move process * Ensure team members follow health and safety procedures * Act as the main point of contact for customers on-site * Report any incidents, delays, or damages promptly to management * Maintain cleanliness and good order of vehicles and equipment Requirements * Valid UK driving licence (Category B minimum) * Proven experience in removals or logistics, ideally in a leadership role * Ability to lead and motivate a small team * Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills * Strong communication and customer service skills * Punctual, reliable, and professional attitude * Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings Desirable (Not Essential) * Category C1 or higher licence (7.5T or HGV) * Knowledge of packing techniques or export removals * Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle checks/repairs Please apply with your CV via the apply button
