Summary of Job Role:
EA Gibson Shipbrokers is looking to recruit a Broker to work on the Suezmax desk in our London office. For this role, you will ideally have 2-3 years’ experience, be motivated and driven to succeed, and have a network of chartering/owning clients.
This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their Broking career and add value to a team.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Work alongside a growing team of brokers to build out the Suezmax desk, extending their client base and identifying and developing new potential business.
- Build relationships with clients and provide information both face to face and by phone/email.
- Facilitate and execute deals between parties, directly and co-brokering with teammates.
- Gather data from the market and help coordinate information within our bespoke technology system.
