Key Responsibilities
- Chairing Child Protection Conferences: Lead effective, inclusive, and outcome-focused conferences that centre children's safety and well-being.
- Plan Development: Ensure the creation of SMART, multi-agency protection plans that clearly outline actions and responsibilities.
- Review & Quality Assurance: Monitor the implementation and impact of protection plans, challenging any drift or delay.

- Practice Leadership: Promote a strengths-based, restorative approach in all safeguarding work.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker (BA/MA Social Work, DipSW or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Extensive experience in child protection, including chairing complex multi-agency meetings.
- Strong knowledge of current safeguarding legislation, statutory responsibilities, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and critical thinking skills.
