HGV Class 2 Driver

Shred Station are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and flexible HGV Class 2 Driver to join our growing team at our Manchester depot, for our multidrop/collection role.

We require any individual applying for this role to be prepared to undertake physical manual handling tasks, be able to do 4 nights out per week and pass our security vetting checks.

Nights out are paid at £20 per night with hotel accommodation provided.

Being the face of Shred Station and interacting with our customers on a daily basis means no 2 days are the same.

Main Duties:

Adhere to all driving, working time, and transport regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Drive responsibly to uphold Shred Station\’s high standards.
Be prepared to undertake physical task, including collecting and shredding confidential material in our shredding vehicles.
Maintain the security of company and customer information in line with GDPR regulations. Ensure confidential information is destroyed appropriately.
Complete electronic collection notes with a high degree of accuracy.

Required:

Valid Cat C License, Digital Tachograph card, DQC card
Friendly, engaging, enthusiastic, and willing to exceed expectations.
Flexible with working hours and able to do nights out when required.
Physically fit
Undertake training related to all aspects of our company\’s environment
Prepared to undertake security checks from various UK Police Forces up to UK Government SC level including DBS every 3 years.

To be considered for this role you will be required to meet security screening checks to BS7858 standards including; 5-year employment & residence check, DBS and a financial history check.
