Our Wakefield based client are currently seeking an experienced – Financial Controller to join their team.

The role will be working for a specialist provider of water and fire safety systems with a reputation for delivering an exceptional and proven product to its clients across a wide spectrum.

You will be overseeing the company’s accounting functions alongside the Finance Director

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Management of Accounts

  • Financial Reporting

  • Monitoring Job Efficiency & Job Costing

  • Construction Industry Scheme

  • VAT

  • Assisting with credit control

  • Preparation of wages and expenses

  • Overseeing subcontractor accounts

  • Assisting with company audits

  • General accounting duties

  • Reporting to Managing Director & Financial Director

Must have a good understanding of:

  • Sage

  • Excel

  • PAYE

  • Construction Industry

  • Credit Control
