Overview: We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Sales Transaction Controller to join our thriving sales team at Toyota Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the UK’s leading Toyota retailers in a busy, customer-focused environment. You’ll act as the link between the sales, admin, and finance departments, ensuring every transaction runs smoothly, compliantly, and efficiently. With strong earning potential and the backing of a supportive leadership team, this role is ideal for a highly organised team player with previous dealership experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end sales transaction process for new and used vehicles
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with FCA regulations
- Coordinate with the finance team to process finance proposals and documentation efficiently
- Liaise with customers, keeping them informed throughout the delivery process
- Support the Sales Manager in managing vehicle stock, order tracking, and delivery scheduling
- Assist the sales team with invoicing, deal checking, and administration
- Monitor and maintain high levels of data accuracy across internal systems
- Provide coaching and support to the sales team on process adherence and deal structure
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturer and dealership procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a similar Sales Transaction Controller or Business Manager role. We may look at Senior Sales Executive from Main Dealers.
- Background working in a franchised main dealership environment is preferred.
- Alternatively, experience as a Sales Manager or similar in an independent dealership
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong understanding of finance processes and FCA compliance
- A team-focused mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- A full UK driving licence is required
