Claims & Litigation Officer 📍 Milton Keynes This role is key in supporting the Professional Services Division, providing essential legal help and risk management assistance 🌟 As a Claims & Litigation Officer, you\’ll work within the in-house legal department. You\’ll be handling everything from Professional Indemnity to Public Liability and County Court claims. This isn\’t just another job – it\’s a chance to be part of a team that makes a tangible impact across various high-profile property domains. What You\’ll Be Doing: ✅ Carrying out research, investigating claims, and reporting on liability. ✅ Managing responses to debt claims. ✅ Drafting letters and defences under the guidance of a Specialist Caseworker. ✅ Undertaking internal training on Professional Indemnity, Public Liability, and County Court Claims. ✅ Keeping up to date with current case law and providing guidance notes. Who We\’re Looking For: ✅ Legal education to degree level or equivalent. ✅ Solid understanding of leasehold property law. ✅ Proficient in Word and Excel, with experience using a Case Management System. ✅ Ability to work independently and manage deadlines. ✅ At least 2 year\’s experience in a similar role. Desirable Extras: 📜 Completion of the Legal Practice Course. 📈 In-depth knowledge of property management for long leasehold properties. And the team?
