Health, Safety & Environment (EHS) Coordinator\\nFood Manufacturing\\nManchester-based, with travel to sister sites\\nSalary, up to £35k + Benefits\\nAre you passionate about health, safety and sustainability? A leading player in the food manufacturing sector is on the lookout for a proactive and enthusiastic EHS Coordinator to join their team based in Manchester (with travel to 2 sister sites).\\nThis is more than just a compliance role – it’s a brilliant opportunity to shape the safety culture, lead behavioural change, and be a driving force in protecting people and the planet.

This role offers excellent scope for growth and development.\\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\\n * Coordinating and implementing EHS policies and procedures to ensure full compliance with UK legislation.\\n * Supporting colleagues and managers with practical, hands-on SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) guidance.\\n * Conducting and leading risk assessments, audits, and inspections across the sites.\\n * Playing a key role in accident investigations and driving proactive safety improvements.\\n * Championing behavioural safety and contributing to a strong safety-first culture.\\n * Leading monthly EHS meetings and maintaining KPIs and management information systems.\\n * Working closely with external bodies and coordinating occupational health and welfare programmes in collaboration with People & Culture teams.\\n * Delivering and facilitating in-house EHS training to raise awareness and embed best practices.\\n * Skill & Experience Needed\\n * A team player with excellent communication and coordination skills.\\n * Strong working knowledge of Excel and comfortable with data and reporting.\\n * Level 4 qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (essential).\\n * Level 4 qualification in Environmental Management (desirable).\\n * Experience within an H&S department, ideally in a food or drink manufacturing setting (preferred but not essential).\\n * A proactive, positive attitude and a genuine passion for EHS.\\nWhy Apply?\\n * Work across a dynamic and varied multi-site operation.\\n * Be part of a business that genuinely values safety, sustainability, and its people.\\n * Opportunities for professional development and mentoring.\\n * Make a tangible impact and lead by example in a key business function.\\nIf you’re ready to be a voice for safety and want to help build a healthier, safer workplace for all – apply now and take the next bold step in your EHS career
