Benefits Advisor Salary: £26,460 per annum + Benefits – Successful candidates are subject to our Development Progression Scale, as well as annual salary reviews Covering Wiltshire [Either Swindon, Salisbury or Chippenham] – Due to regular travel the role does require access to transport (i.e. daily commutes, multi-site travel on occasion). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive community-based debt advice service to people on probation or leaving custody. What you will be doing? Delivering a suite of workshops to individuals and/or groups of Service Users Preparing & agreeing individual action plans Providing specialist level Debt Casework To be successful you will require; Working with local probation services & supporting service users with finance, benefit and debt assessments and action plans Experience of working with vulnerable/challenging people; utilizing strong interpersonal skills supporting individuals with ever-changing complex needs. Evidence of Case Management (i.e dealing with multiple people, having difficult conversations, providing tailored solutions relating to people with \’lived experience.
