Our client, a leading legal services provider, have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Casualty Litigated Claims Manager to join their dynamic Claims Management team. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to manage a caseload of EL/PL delegated authority fixed fee cases for a wide variety of insurance clients.
This is an ideal position for someone with an analytical and forensic approach looking to grow their legal career in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with exposure to a wide range of fraud types and legal processes.
Key Responsibilities include:- Manage complex EL/PL claims from initial strategy through to resolution, including litigation and delegated authority cases.
- Conduct in-depth investigations, including reviewing medical and personnel records, obtaining witness statements, and liaising with insured parties and solicitors.
- Instruct and collaborate with Counsel and experts, attending conferences and trials to support case progression.
- Draft key legal documents such as Tomlin Orders, Consent Orders, and cost schedules, contributing to effective case resolution.
- Engage in strategic legal research and negotiations, helping shape case outcomes and client success.
The ideal candidate will have experience handling personal injury cases with strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills, and an ability to manage deadlines, prioritise tasks, and work under pressure. You will also ideally possess a legal education (ILEX, LPC) (or equivalent work experience). Experience with litigation will also be key.
