This includes formulating sourcing strategies, conducting RFPs, negotiating favourable contracts, and consolidating purchases to maximise cost savings while maintaining high quality standards.This is a collaborative role that will require you to build a strong network of internal relationships and gain a deep understanding of all aspects of CFC. Responsibilities include creating reports and updates for leadership, maintaining compliance through gap analyses and ongoing process reviews, and collaborating cross-functionally to mitigate risks.Develop and implement centralised processes to manage procurement and outsourcing arrangementsDevelop and implement sourcing strategies to procure goods and services at the best possible cost, quality, and termsCreate and issue reports on procurement & outsourcing arrangements, including board and committee updates as requiredMaintain and manage the annual review process with business owners, including setting out KPIs for all outsourcing contractsConduct a gap analysis and perform ongoing reviews between the outsourcing process and regulator requirements to ensure complianceLead the RFP process for major purchases, negotiating favorable contracts with suppliers and service providersIdentify opportunities to consolidate purchases across the company to leverage spend and increase cost savingsManage relationships with key vendors and suppliers alongside business owners, conducting performance reviews and driving continuous improvementCollaborate with other departments (Compliance, Legal, IT etc.) to ensure proper risk mitigationAbout youWe are looking for someone with extensive experience in progressive procurement with supply chain and outsourcing experience. You will ideally have MCISPS or another similar industry recognised certification and membership. Experience of setting up a procurement function or working in a start up/scale up company would be preferred.You will be as strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and negotiation and contract management abilities.
