Commercial Coordinator

Outline of the Role:

To support the UK with auto rating / rate control management by updating and maintaining internal database, this would include speaking with carriers and meeting suppliers. Controlling newly established gateway features to ensure automation is working correctly and schedules / rates are being created and issued in a timely manner to the business. Supporting with other commercial activities such as quotations to clients and generating rate cards / customer proposals, Client updates via our marketing platforms for our products.

Auto rating / rate control, Gateway control, Client proposals / Sales Quotations (Air, Ocean, Road – Import/Export)

Location is Heathrow Mon to Fri Salary £30/35k

Ideal person we are looking for:

This role requires someone who understands freight forwarding, the candidate does not exactly need to be 100% in all modes of transport but the more knowledge the better. Computer skills will be required, Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook, CSV’s and being confident / flexible in their ability. The candidate should also have experience in pricing / quoting clients. Cargowise experience is preferred.
