This a Fixed term part time GP Clinical Assistant post at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based in the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. The session is specifically available to support urgent cancer clinics on Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. These sessions are available immediately and until August 2025.
Full registration with the GMC with a licence to practise is required and Entry on the GP Specialist Register is essential. Should the appointee not hold right of residence in the UK, sponsorship will be required.
Main duties of the job
The appointee will work within the dermatology department at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. The duties of the post will be contributing to the department’s Urgent and Suspect Cancer superclinic that runs on Wednesdays, with a mix of clinician types under consultant supervision seeing new patients referred on an Urgent Suspected Cancer pathway.
