Asset Manager (shopping centre)

A leading asset manager in the repositioning of large in town retail assets is seeking an Asset Manager to join their team. As a highly regarded shopping centre specialist this business offers the opportunity for someone to move into client-side asset management and learn from an experienced team of retail experts. Role responsibilities will include:

• Working on a diverse shopping centre portfolio across the UK.
• Assisting in the preparation and implementation of business plans to drive asset performance and value.
• Working closely with agents to develop and deliver leasing strategy.
• Maintain financial models.
• Prepare quarterly asset management reports.

The preferred candidate will:

• Hold a degree
• Have a minimum of two years’ relevant industry experience with a background in commercial asset or property management or leasing
• Have a good understanding of the retail industry
• Have strong numeracy and be proficient in the use of MS Excel.
• Hold a full valid full driving licence.

MRICS is preferred but not essential.

Remuneration:

The salary for this role will be dependant on prior experience but will likely be in the range of £40,000 – £50,000 plus bonus.
