Manufacturing Systems Engineer

Senior Manufacturing Systems / Software Engineer Opportunity to join a market leading technology manufacturing business and play a key role delivering NPI projects to volume production. Heading up a small team you will take responsibility for ensuring all production machinery is configured and programmed to deliver volume production in line with quality, safety and performance expectations.What you’ll be doing:Manage and co-ordinate manufacturing software and systems and small team of engineers / techniciansLiaise with key internal and external stakeholdersManage NPI activities for manufacturing equipment software and systemsEnsure documentation and traceability standards are maintainedManage and schedule software and system updates for manufacturing equipmentIntegrate new manufacturing equipment into software & systems deptManage continuous improvement activitiesExperience you’ll haveManufacturing machinery software systems management and programming within a highly automated environment with machines and software such as Panasert, DEK, Fuji, Aegis, Factorylogix, CircuitCAM, SIplaceExtensive experience setting up and optimising manufacturing machinery systems / software and automation for NPI projectsCAD and Gerber file experienceRelevant engineering qualificationSuccessful implementation of continuous improvement projectsTeam managementBusiness has a superb culture and offers training and development on their manufacturing software and systems for relevant candidates.
