Lead Salesforce Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Salesforce Architect to join a leading UK bank undergoing a major digital transformation. This role is pivotal in shaping the bank's Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design end-to-end Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, and Financial Services Cloud.
• Lead the technical strategy and roadmap for Salesforce within the bank's digital transformation programme.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable architecture.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, data protection laws (e.g., GDPR), and internal security standards.
• Provide technical leadership to Salesforce developers, admins, and integration specialists.
• Oversee integration with core banking systems, third-party APIs, and enterprise platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, AWS, Azure).
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases and innovations, advising on their applicability to the bank's ecosystem.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect, ideally in the banking or financial services sector.
• Deep expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, data architecture, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and tools like Git, Copado, or Gearset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or CTA are a strong plus.
