Job Title: School Site Assistant\\n\\nLocation: Southampton, UK\\n\\nPosition Type: Full-time, Temp to perm\\n\\nStart Date: Immediately\\n\\nWe are currently seeking a proactive and diligent School Site Assistant to join a school based in Southampton on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the school site.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nConducting routine maintenance tasks to upkeep the school premises.\\nAssisting with health and safety checks to ensure compliance with regulations.\\nMonitoring and managing stock levels for cleaning and maintenance supplies.\\nResponding promptly to any maintenance or repair issues as they arise.\\nUndertaking minor repairs and adjustments as needed.\\nSupporting the setup and breakdown of equipment for school events and activities.\\nCollaborating with other staff members to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.Requirements:\\n\\nPrevious experience in a caretaker, facilities management, or site assistant posiition. \\nStrong practical skills with the ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.\\nExcellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.\\nGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.\\nA proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.\\nKnowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to school environments would be advantageous.\\nWillingness to undergo relevant background checks.Benefits:\\n\\nCompetitive rates of pay.\\nTemporary to permanent for the right candidate.
