We are currently recruiting English, Maths, and Science Graduate Teaching Assistants for full time, long term roles for schools in West London. Roles are full time, long term, and will be to start in September 2025.
Responsibilities for Graduate Teaching Assistant include:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and supporting classroom learning.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, including those with SEN, helping to reinforce learning.
- Support the development of students' academic skills (including literacy and numeracy) and personal development, fostering social and emotional growth.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Prepare and organise teaching resources to support lesson delivery and student engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to track student progress and implement learning strategies.
About you:
- Educated to degree level in English, Maths, or Science (or STEM), or a related subject area.
- Have previous experience within a school or other child-related experience.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and a professional and friendly approach.
- Have knowledge and experience supporting children within special educational needs.
- School based experience preferred but not essential.
