Security Project Engineer

Security Project Engineer Location: Southeast – Working on various Data Centres Duration: Long Term Works Rate: £320/ Day Contract Overview: We are seeking an experienced Security Project Engineer to support the delivery of electronic security projects across the South-East region. This role involves managing installations, overseeing subcontractors, and ensuring systems are commissioned and tested to high standards. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and oversee the delivery of electronic security systems on-site. * Commission systems as required. * Verify equipment specifications prior to installation. * Develop and manage site-specific Method Statements and Risk Assessments. * Uphold all Health & Safety requirements and site compliance. * Supervise subcontractors effectively. * Ensure systems are fully tested and commissioned. * Support the production of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) documentation. * Deliver adequate training to clients and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Essential Experience: * A minimum of 10 years’ experience in security system installation, project engineering, and commissioning. * Strong experience in programming Security Systems – this is essential. Required Certification: * ECS Card – Essential * SSSTS – Desirable
