My client is looking for a Field Service Supervisor to join their service and installation team. They are a leading water and wastewater treatment solutions provider and offer a comprehensive range of services including the maintenance of water systems and the design and build of bespoke dirty water and waste water treatment projects and PPM contracts. Their ideal candidate will have proven Lead Engineer or field service supervisory experience as well as fabrication or pipefitting, mechanical hands-on background with a strong knowledge of pumps within waste water treatment.

The successful Field Service Supervisor will have a solid track record in waste water servicing and installing systems such as pump stations or packaged sewage treatment plants. You will lead from the front, ensuring high standards of service delivery while promoting my client’s values and commitment to client satisfaction.

Responsible for:

  • Supervise and carry out installation and maintenance works across foul, clean water, and project sectors.
  • Lead planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities – solo or as part of a team.
  • Support out-of-hours service delivery on a rota basis, including occasional weekend work (overtime rates apply).
  • Coordinate with office planning staff for effective job scheduling.
  • Travel to various client sites and stay overnight when required.
  • Identify and report on remedial works to assist with quoting and follow-up.
  • Promote the business to current and potential clients, helping to expand our customer base.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently, adhering to Health & Safety standards.
  • Accurately complete time sheets and job documentation.
  • Maintain a positive, “can-do” attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the waste water industry.
  • Proven experience in a field service supervisory role.
  • Mechanical (fitter) or electrical background strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with pump stations, ejector stations, and packaged treatment plants.
  • Willingness to work across all company sectors.
  • Confined Space Training certification.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • Desire to grow both professionally and contribute to the company’s success.
  • Flexibility to travel and work away from home as needed.
