Senior Development Manager\\n \\n Location: Canary Wharf\\n Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience\\n \\n Salter Grange is currently partnered with a forward-thinking and award-winning property development company to recruit a Senior Development Manager to join their team to lead on the delivery of a project.\\n\\nThis is a key leadership role, responsible for managing a development from early-stage planning through to delivery and handover. Success in this role hinges on your ability to manage multiple stakeholders, navigate complex planning processes, communicate clearly across departments and partners, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.\\n\\nKey responsibilities:\\n\\nOversee full project lifecycle: from brief preparation to planning approval, construction, and final handover\\nDevelop robust development programmes and drive project teams to meet strategic goals\\nBuild and manage multidisciplinary internal teams and coordinate external consultants\\nLead negotiations with local authorities, planning consultants, and other third parties\\nManage and nurture key relationships with joint venture partners, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout\\nRegularly report on development appraisals, risks, costs, and delivery progress to internal leadershipWhat we’re looking for:\\n\\nPrevious experience working within a Tier 1 property developer\\nStrong understanding of the UK planning system and development processes\\nDemonstrable experience in leading large-scale projects and managing multiple third-party stakeholders\\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to lead and coordinate internal and external teams\\nExperience working within joint venture structures, with a solid grasp of governance and partner relations\\nCommercial awareness and experience with financial planning, programme management, and construction interfacesTo be considered for this opportunity, please apply now with your most up to date CV
