We are seeking Minibus Drivers to join our team of Casual drivers who provide support to cover staff absences for transporting our students to and from school. These shifts are 06:15 - 08:45 and 15:15 - 17:45/18:45 Monday - Friday term time only, and we would accommodate your preferred availability (AM and/or PM).
There may be other ad hoc opportunities for supporting events across the school calendar during term-time which might include driving students to sports fixtures or school trips.
You will join a friendly and very welcoming team of both permanent and Casual drivers.
Key requirements include:
- A valid Cat D1 classification on your driving licence plus an acceptable driving record;
- Have/be prepared to take the MIDAS qualification;
- The ability to react calmly in emergency situations;
- Over 21 years of age;
- Have/be prepared to take a suitable First Aid qualification;
- Maintaining good customer relations with parents and the school and contributing to a good atmosphere on the bus.
