Our client operates within the accountancy and outsourced finance services industry and is expanding their management accounts and digital transformation offering. They're seeking a forward-thinking leader to spearhead innovation across its service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own delivery of monthly/quarterly management accounts for SME clients
  • Manage a team responsible for bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, forecasts
  • Implement cloud and AI-led process improvements (e.g., Xero, Dext, Fathom)
  • Provide insightful financial reporting and cash-flow analysis
  • Serve as lead client contact, ensuring quality and commercial insight
  • Grow client portfolios, supporting onboarding and outsourcing evolution
  • Mentor junior team members and support business development

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified by ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven practice-based management accounting and client portfolio management
  • Strong digital credentials: Xero, cloud accounting, AI tools
  • Commercial acumen and presentation skills
  • Team leadership and mentoring capability
  • Experience in process improvement and KPI budget planning
