Finance Manager (part-time)

Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client in the Radstock area who are actively seeking to engage a Finance Manager (part-time) to join their team on a permanent basis.What you will be doing:As Finance Manager (part-time), in this key role you will be responsible for :Produce accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reportsLead budgeting and forecasting processesPrepare and post monthly journal entries including accruals and prepaymentsManage working capital, including preparation of rolling cash flow forecastsConduct detailed analysis of financial performance and present findings to managementServe as primary point of contact with internal and external stakeholdersEnsure VAT compliance, submissions and payment accuracyWhat you will need to succeed:Ability to prepare monthly financial statements and management reportsUnderstanding and preparation of statutory requirements (e.g., VAT returns)Ability to reconcile bank statements and maintain financial data accuracyProficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage, and advanced Excel skillsQualified to full AAT standard (or equivalent)Experience preparing annual budgets and monthly cash flow forecastsStrong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent organisational and communication skillsWhat you will receive in return :£31,200pa pro-rataPart-time Monday to Friday 30 hours per week**100% office based**Generous holiday entitlementFree parkingThe chance to join a progressive organisationWhat you need to do next:If this position sounds of interest and you would like to be considered, please email sarah.collins@thrivegroup. co.ukThrive Group are acting as an employment agency in relationship to this vacancy.If you have not heard from a consultant within 7 days, please assume you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.INDTROTPBN1_UKTJ
