Experienced 1-2-1 SEN Teaching assistant needed to work on a full time basis in a mainstream primary school in Tower Hamlets.\\n\\nMonday – Friday | 08:30 – 15:45\\n\\nSeptember 2025 – July 2026\\n\\nPAYE, we don't use umbrella companies\\n\\nAbout the role\\n\\nA mainstream primary school in Tower Hamlets are looking to appoint an SEN teaching assistant to work with a pupil in year 2 with autism.\\n\\nThe pupil will require support throughout the day including emotional, social and academic support. (No personal care required).\\n\\nYou will be working alongside the class teacher and SENCo ensuring the pupil receives all the support needed.\\n\\nYou should-\\n\\n-Have experience working with children with autism\\n\\n-Be able to work off your own initiative with the pupil\\n\\n-Be able to identify pupils needs and provide the relevant support throughout the day based off these needs\\n\\n-Have a strong understanding of ASD\\n\\n-Be able to work as a team, working collaboratively with other members of staff\\n\\nAbout the school\\n\\nThe school is a two form entry mainstream primary school, they were rated 'Good' in their last Ofsted inspection.\\n\\nThe school are looking for someone who can commit for the year and someone who is patient, caring and empathetic, with a strong passion for working with children with SEN.\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\nTo be considered for the role of 1-2-1 SEN Teaching Assistant- Mainstream Primary School you will:\\n\\nHave a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one\\nBe able to work Monday – Friday | 08:30 – 16.00\\nHave experience working with SEN\\nSalary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
