Hosting Engineer\\n\\nBased in London\\nHybrid WorkingA leading technology-driven organisation is seeking a Hosting Engineer to join their Infrastructure team. This is a hands-on role focused on deploying and operating Kubernetes environments, driving automation, and ensuring operational excellence across a complex hosting estate.\\n\\nThe successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a DevOps-focused engineer with strong Kubernetes and infrastructure experience to take ownership of key systems and contribute to the evolution of a modern, automated hosting platform.\\n\\nRole and Responsibilities:\\n\\nDeploy, operate, and maintain on-premises Kubernetes environments, with a focus on automation and scalability.\\nManage and automate infrastructure components including Cisco UCS, virtualisation platforms, storage, backups, and Linux systems using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and GitHub.\\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure delivery with DevOps best practices.\\nLead incident response, root cause analysis, and ongoing support for critical infrastructure services.\\nDefine and implement infrastructure administration standards and procedures.\\nChampion Infrastructure as Code and continuous improvement across the hosting estate.\\nSupport and guide third-party providers and internal stakeholders to successful outcomes.
\\n\\nKey Skills and Experience:\\n\\n5+ years of experience in DevOps and infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on Kubernetes and automation.\\nProficiency with Ansible, Terraform, Git, and GitHub.\\nExperience with VMware vSphere in enterprise environments.\\nFamiliarity with Cisco UCS and MDS infrastructure.\\nStrong understanding of storage technologies including fibre channel, NFS, and object storage.\\nExperience with PureStorage and CommVault is highly desirable.\\nSolid background in Red Hat Linux (RHEL 7, 8, 9) administration.\\nGood understanding of networking fundamentals (firewalls, routing, switching, TCP/IP).\\nExperience working in hybrid environments, ideally with exposure to Azure.\\nFamiliarity with Intel Windows Server (2019/2022) and Microsoft technologies.\\nDisaster recovery planning and execution experience.\\nExposure to ITIL frameworks and project delivery methodologies.\\nStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment. \\n\\nDon't miss this opportunity to take a leading role in shaping the future of infrastructure delivery within a forward-thinking technology environment.
