Industrial Placement Opportunity – Data Analyst / Business Intelligence (Office-based, Welshpool)

Please note:

• This is a full-time, on-site placement for 9–12 months, ideal for students seeking a ‘sandwich year’ as part of their degree.
• You must be able to commute to Welshpool on a daily basis.
• Remote or hybrid working is not available.

Are you a university student looking for a year in industry as part of your degree? We’re seeking a full-time placement student to join our Welshpool office, working on live data and business intelligence projects that support real business decisions.

About the Role:

• 9–12 month fixed-term placement (ideal for students on a “sandwich” course)
• Office-based in Welshpool—must be able to commute daily
• Hands-on projects using Excel, Power BI, and other BI tools
• Full training and mentoring provided in a supportive SME environment

Responsibilities:

• University student seeking a year in industry/industrial placement (2025–2026 academic year)
• Studying data science, computer science, maths, business analytics, or a related subject
• Able to commute daily to Welshpool
• Strong interest in data and willingness to learn
