Our Global Enterprise client is looking for a Windows 11 Deployment Engineer to join their team and carry out 6 desk deployments on average during a shift. Location: London – Onsite
Responsibilities:
- The team shall predominantly be made up of Installation Technicians.
- The team are responsible for but not limited to the following tasks:
- Deployment of the desktop devices to the users’ desks.
- Where applicable and agreed on a country-by-country basis, the decommissioning and removal of all legacy equipment back to central location (to be made ready for collection by the Supplier’s disposal / re-marketing provider).
- Nightly reporting, including the total number of devices, number of successful deployments and number of failures with reason.
- Validating clients end user data via a desk-side visit as part of the agreed end user survey.
Experience:
- Ideally has worked for 6 months or more in their most recent assignment in a bank or if not, they would love a Magic Circle law firm experience or could also be happy with insurance firms.
Technical Skills:
- Experience working at a UK bank.
Soft Skills:
- Flexible approach and ability to work co-operatively within a newly created team environment.
- Should be a self-starter and be able to perform quality assurance and control to create technical deliverables that are error free with minimal non-functional defects.
- Experience in operationally supporting large, complex technical environment.
- Methodical and structured in their approach to tasks.
- Capability to organise and prioritise tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish/maintain relationships and interact with team members.
