ROLE SUMMARY:
As the Director IT Service Engineering you will lead the IT Service Engineering function for the group. You will have accountability for all IT service strategy functions including Service Design and Service Transition. You will also lead the technology data office incorporating core CMDB, asset management policy and Mapping framework, drive level 1 control ownership for ISD COBIT control assurance framework.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Senior technology interface for IT Service Engineering stakeholders across all lines of business and group technology functions
- Functionally responsible for IT Service Strategy operating model and strategy
- ITIL service governance framework, including Service Transition, Service Strategy & Design, Asset Management
- Responsible for compliance with COBIT Control Library, assurance and testing
- Driving Technology Service Improvement Plans to drive service effectiveness
- Lead groups Technology Data Office, responsible for driving core CMDB, data mapping process and asset management controls
- Lead and drive the delivery of Service governance, core control framework and regulatory adherence
- Partner with business to plan and run the IT Service Strategy budget across both BAU opex and all capex investment programmes
- Partner with Group Enterprise Service data platform and tooling, driving requirements and automation
- Regulatory/Risk and control oversight across technology
- Leads design, implementation and operation of dedicated service management policies, process and procedures
- Group reporting, key control and risk management
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Proven technology experience designing, operating and running globally diverse teams
- Experience leading large, global, multi product service teams, platforms and stakeholders
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT Service Management, ITIL control framework and data governance
- Significant people management, leadership and stakeholder management experience
- Executive client and senior stakeholder management
- Experience of driving business and technology strategic change initiatives
- Experience working in a complex, international, changing and matrix reporting environment
